Cheesy Potato-Bake for Microwave
The Cheesy Potato-Bake recipe I am sharing with you today is a big hit in my family.
We love potatoes in all variations. Grilled, baked, fried, roasted, sauteed and more.
This recipe takes about 10 minutes to prepare and about 15 minutes to cook, and it
tastes delicious with any grilled or fried meat. Last night I served it with fried salmon,
and it was a perfect combination. Try it out and let me know in the comments
below what you think of it. Hope you like it as much as I do. Enjoy.
This is what you need
1 serving is 200 cal.
4 – 5 medium size potatoes
½ cup of shredded cheese of your choice
½ tsp salt
1/5 tsp black pepper
A tiny bit of shredded nutmeg
4 – 5 tbsp heavy cream
Finely chopped leek for garnishing (optional)
Handy in the kitchen
This is what you do
Peel the potatoes and cut them in thin slices.
Layer the potato-slices with shredded cheese, salt, black pepper and nutmeg in a micro-safe bowl.
Pour the heavy cream over the potatoes.
Cover the bowl and cook on full effect for 9-11 minutes.
Leave it for 5 minutes before serving to let the heat spread out and sprinkle the finely chopped leek on top to add some nice color.
Note: The cheese give the dish a nice crust, and if you want some more color, sprinkle some paprika powder on top before you start cooking.
