Dark Chocolate Dipped Fruit (Microwave)

This dark chocolate dipped fruit is a dessert/snack that is actually good for you.

The health benefits of dark chocolate should be well know to everybody,

Fruit and chocolate goes very well together, and is a quick and easy way to make a snack that everybody will enjoy.

If you melt your chocolate in the microwave it’s done in a few minutes, so what are we waiting for, let’s start….

Chocolate dipped fruit, 4 minutes in microwave, perfect summer-snack

makes 25 pieces of fruit

1 piece is about 50 cal.

This is what you need

Slices of pieces of any fruits

Banana

Orange

Kiwi

Pinapple

Grapes

Strawberry

2 cups (200 gr) (7 oz) dark chocolate

1 tbsp vegetable oil (optional)

Chocolate dipped fruit, choco melted in microwave for quick and easy summer-snack


Handy in the kitchen



This is what you do

  1. Peel and clean the fruit and divide it into slices or pieces.The fruit should be completely dry on the surface after it is washed, so make sure to get rid of the water before slicing.

  2. Break the chocolate into small pieces and place in a micro safe bowl. (Pour the oil over the chocolate).

  3. Melt the chocolate in the microwave for about 3-4 minutes on half effect. Stir after half time.

  4. Dip the fruits in the chocolate and let them cool off on a sheet of baking paper.

 

Place the dark chocolate dipped fruit in the fridge until you are ready to eat them. They should be eaten the same day as made for maximum pleasure.

Be careful, the bowl with the melted chocolate might be very hot, don’t burn yourself.

The oil makes the chocolate melt more smoothly and give it a softer consistency, but can be dropped.
