Golden Bell Pepper Sauce for microwave
This tasty bell pepper sauce recipe is a quick and easy solution to brighten up a dish.
Not only because it’s delicious, but the color will make any boring piece of meat or fish look like a gourmet meal.
It is also perfect to use on any vegetable dish ENJOY
This is what you need
serves 2 – 3
1 serving is 250 cal.
1/2 red bell pepper
1/2 yellow bell pepper
2-3 tbsp water
2 dl (1+ 1/3 cup ) crème fraîche
2/5 tsp salt
tiny pinch of black pepper
1 tsp tumeric
Handy in the kitchen
This is what you do
1. Make sure you get all the seeds out of the bell peppers and cut them in small squares. Place in a micro-safe bowl and add the water.
2. Cover the bowl and cook on full effect for 2-3 minutes
3.Mix the crème fraîche with salt, pepper and tumeric in another bowl.
4. Stir the bell-pepper with the water in with the spiced crème fraîche and warm on full effect for 2 minutes. Make sure it does NOT boil.
Note; you can replace the crème fraîche with sour cream, but it will make the sauce thinner. Light version can not be used, it will split when warmed up
