Hot Tomato Sauce for Microwave
The hot tomato sauce recipe I am sharing with you today can be used in many ways.
You can use it on pasta, rice, as a sauce on your meatballs, as a dip and for sure a lot more.
If you have any leftover burgers, meatloaf or meatballs, ground them up and add for a meaty sauce.
Cooking can’t get more easy than this. ENJOY
This is what you need
1 can (400 g or 14 oz ) crushed tomatoes
3 tbsp wine- or apple vinegar
4 tbsp of your favorite chili sauce
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp sugar
1/5 tsp fresh grinded pepper
1 tbsp strong mustard
1/5 tsp garlic-powder ( or 2 pressed garlic cloves )
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Handy in the kitchen
This is what you do
1. Mix all the ingredients in a microsafe bowl
2. Cover with lid or a plate
3. Boil the sauce on full effect for 5 – 6 minutes
Serve warm with spaghetti or rice, also great with grilled meat or meatballs
Tip; You can add other herbs, like tarragon, sage, rosemary, oregano, etc. to get some variation to this amazing sauce
