Mellow Mushrooms (Microwave)
If you love mushrooms, you will enjoy today’s recipe.
I have mixed my mushrooms with tomatoes and onions,
added some soy sauce and spices, and in 10 minutes it
is ready to eat. You can enjoy this mushroom dish
as a meal in itself, or as a side to any meat or fish.
This is what you need
1 serving is 100 cal.
200-300 gram (5 cups) fresh mushrooms
1/5 tsp oregano or chervil
2 tbsp soy sauce
a pinch of salt
(if your soy sauce is very salty you can skip the salt)
Handy in the kitchen
This is what you do
Cut the mushrooms in two (or in three if they are big)
Peel the onions and cut into thin slices.
Place the mushrooms and onions in a micro safe bowl
and cook for 2-3 minutes on full effect
Cut the tomatoes into cubes and mix them in with the
mushrooms and onions. Add oregano or chervil and soy sauce.
Cover the bowl and cook for 2-3 minutes on full effect.
When done, add salt if necessary.
Note; You can use frozen or canned mushrooms if you prefer.
This dish is rich in fiber and vitamin C.
Eat your mushrooms with bread and cheese,
or as a side to a nice steak or meatloaf.
