½ tbsp butter or margarine
¾ cup of water
1/3 cup of red wine
a pinch of salt to taste
Useful for this recipe
This is what you do
Peel the onion, carrot and knob-celery. Finely chop the onion and cut carrot and knob-celery into tiny squares.
Melt the butter in micro safe bowl on full effect for about 20-30 seconds.
Mix the vegetables in with the butter and cook on full effect for about 3-4 minutes.
Add water, red wine and salt. Boil the sauce on full effect for about 4-5 minutes. Stir after half time.
Take the sauce out of the microwave and stir very well to mash most of the vegetables to make a thicker sauce.
To mash the vegetables you can use a hand blender or even a blender. If this process cool your sauce down, warm it up on full effect for about one minute before serving.
